GRAYSON COUNTY, KY — A two-vehicle collision on the Western Kentucky Parkway early Thursday morning resulted in one fatality and several serious injuries.
According to Kentucky State Police, the crash occurred around 4:30 a.m. near the 117-mile marker. A Honda Civic, driven by 25-year-old Francisco Tziquin, was traveling westbound when it crossed the median and collided head-on with an eastbound Lincoln MKZ.
Authorities confirmed that a female passenger in the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene by the Grayson County Coroner’s Office. Two juveniles in the Civic were transported to a Louisville hospital with serious injuries, while the driver of the Lincoln was also hospitalized with significant injuries.
Tziquin has been arrested for leaving the scene of an accident without rendering aid and for operating a vehicle without a valid moped license, according to officials. The incident remains under investigation.
