BOLTON, Mass. — A car crash on Saturday morning in Bolton resulted in the death of a 59-year-old woman.
The collision occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Wattaquadock Hill Road and Old Bay Road. According to Bolton police, officers discovered a damaged Honda SUV and a Ford F-350 pickup truck at the scene.
Authorities reported that the driver of the Honda was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased has not been disclosed. The 20-year-old driver of the Ford was unharmed.
Investigators stated that the Honda SUV was traveling southwest on Old Bay Road when it struck the Ford, which was heading north on Wattaquadock Hill Road.
The cause of the crash is under ongoing investigation, and it remains uncertain whether any charges will be filed.
