PARK COUNTY, CO — A woman sustained serious injuries in a hit-and-run incident on U.S. 285 late Friday night, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 11:45 p.m. near mile marker 197, located south of Jefferson, between Bailey and Fairplay. The woman, driving a 2002 Toyota Tacoma, was airlifted to an area hospital. Further details regarding her condition have not been released.
Authorities are seeking a black Volvo S60, model year 2011 to 2014, with temporary tags that fled the scene. The vehicle may have sustained damage to the passenger side mirror.
