62-Year-Old Woman Found Dead After Crash in Cheshire
A 62-year-old woman was discovered deceased on July 7 following a single-vehicle crash in the 91300 block of Territorial Highway, south of Cheshire.
The Lane County Sheriff’s Office reported that her vehicle, a 2006 Chevy Malibu, was located 30 feet down an embankment in thick vegetation. An investigation revealed the crash likely occurred several days prior to its discovery.
The woman has been identified as Mary Ann Snoddy of Junction City. She was reported missing to Junction City Police several days before the crash, which was under active investigation.
Authorities said no additional injuries were reported. Emergency responders, including the Lane County Sheriff’s Office, are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
