Two killed in wrong-way crash linked to DUI.

Lede: A man has been accused of causing a crash on Highway 20 in Anderson County on July 15, 2022, that resulted in two fatalities.

Authorities say the incident involved two vehicles—a sedan and a pickup truck—colliding at approximately 3:30 p.m. Witnesses reported the pickup truck appeared to have crossed the centerline before the crash.

The tragic event left two individuals deceased at the scene, both confirmed to be in their 30s. Emergency responders, including the Anderson County Fire Department and local law enforcement, arrived promptly to assess the situation and assist with medical aid.
