BARRINGTON, N.H. — Two individuals were killed in a crash on Route 125 on Wednesday afternoon, according to local authorities.

A 25-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man were confirmed dead following the incident. Investigators reported that around 1 p.m., a car was attempting to turn left at the intersection of Route 125 and Newtown Plains Road when it was rear-ended by another vehicle. This collision caused the first car to be pushed into the northbound lane, where it was subsequently struck by a commercial vehicle.

An 83-year-old woman, another driver involved in the crash, was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. The identities of the deceased have not been released; both were residents of Barrington.

A portion of Route 125 near the crash site was closed for several hours but has since reopened. The investigation is ongoing, with police collecting further details on the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
