Aurora Crash Injures Five, Including Two Children

A collision involving two vehicles in northwestern Aurora left five people injured Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, the incident occurred shortly after 1:30 p.m. near East Colfax Avenue and Altura Boulevard. A car carrying two adults and two children veered into oncoming traffic, colliding with another vehicle. It remains unclear which direction the car was traveling at the time of the crash.

The driver of the affected vehicle, an unidentified woman, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital. The four occupants of the other vehicle were also taken to the hospital, though the extent of their injuries is currently unknown.

Authorities have not released additional details about the crash, which is still under investigation.
