LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A three-vehicle crash briefly shut down southbound Interstate 11/U.S. 95 in Henderson, disrupting the Monday morning commute.
The collision occurred around 7:45 a.m. on I-11 southbound, just north of Galleria Drive, according to Trooper Shawn Haggstrom with the Nevada State Police, Highway Patrol. Troopers closed the freeway until the vehicles were safely moved to the right shoulder.
Passengers in one of the vehicles were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Haggstrom confirmed. While southbound I-11 has since reopened, residual traffic congestion remains in the area.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation, and an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
