Three Men Killed in Early Morning Car Crash on Route 25

According to local authorities, three men died following a car crash on Route 25 in Springfield at approximately 2:41 a.m. Saturday.

Officials report that a sedan and a pickup truck collided head-on near mile marker 10, resulting in the fatalities of all three occupants of the sedan. The victims have not yet been publicly identified.

Emergency responders from the Springfield Fire Department and local law enforcement arrived at the scene within minutes. Medical personnel confirmed the deaths on-site and pronounced the victims dead. The driver of the pickup truck sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Springfield Medical Center for treatment.

The collision caused significant damage, leading to lane closures in both directions on Route 25 for several hours. Recovery and towing operations were completed by 6:30 a.m., reopening the roadway to traffic.
