GREENE COUNTY, N.C. — A multi-vehicle crash on Saturday, August 16, injured three individuals on State Highway 13.
The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. near the intersection with U.S. 13 North. Authorities reported that two cars and a pickup truck were involved. Emergency medical services transported three patients to a local hospital, with no reported fatalities.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is currently investigating the crash. Witnesses reported that the collision caused significant damage to the vehicles involved.
Both directions of State Highway 13 were temporarily closed for cleanup and investigation, leading to minor traffic delays. Towing services were on-site to remove the damaged vehicles.
