GOLF CART CRASH IN CLIFTON SENDS THREE TO HOSPITAL
A golf cart accident in Clifton on Saturday afternoon left three individuals hospitalized.
Emergency crews responded to the scene near 220 Hopkins Pond Road around 3:30 p.m. The crash involved a golf cart carrying six people, with no other vehicles reported as involved, according to the Eddington Fire Department.
“We were dispatched to a report of an accident involving a golf cart. That’s a private camp dirt road. We arrived and found multiple patients,” said Deputy Chief Craig Russell.
Three of the passengers were transported to a local hospital with injuries described as not serious. The remaining three individuals were assessed and did not require medical transport.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, with officials working to gather additional details.
