Adaysia Read Dies Following Crash That Killed Infant Daughter and Partner
PORTLAND, ME — Adaysia Read, 27, died on Monday at Maine Medical Center, days after her 7-month-old daughter, Kinsley Willigar, succumbed to injuries from a vehicle collision. The crash, which also claimed the life of Kinsley's father, Tyrell Willigar, occurred on the morning of March 21, 2025.
According to authorities, the incident took place on Route 302 in Naples. A preliminary investigation indicates that a sedan collided with a pickup truck. Emergency responders arrived shortly after the accident, providing medical aid at the scene before transporting the victims to local hospitals.
Tyrell Willigar was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Kinsley was taken to the hospital but did not survive her injuries. Adaysia Read was hospitalized but later succumbed to her injuries on March 25.
