St. Cloud Teen Dies Following Car Crash

A 15-year-old boy has died from injuries sustained in a vehicle crash in St. Cloud on Nov. 4.

The crash occurred at 7:31 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 75 and Traverse Road when a southbound passenger vehicle collided with a northbound vehicle that had turned in front of it. Authorities reported that both vehicles had a green light at the time of the incident.

In the turning vehicle, a 22-year-old man suffered minor injuries, while a backseat passenger, a 19-year-old woman, was seriously injured and pinned inside the car. The 15-year-old in the front passenger seat was found unconscious and not breathing.

The 20-year-old driver of the southbound vehicle sustained minor injuries. The teenager was transported to the hospital for life-threatening injuries. Nine days later, authorities confirmed he had died; his identity has not yet been released.

The driver of the turning vehicle was cited for failing to yield the right of way. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, according to the St. Cloud Police Department.
