Three Injured in Gasconade County Single-Vehicle Crash
Gasconade County, MO—Three individuals sustained injuries in a single-vehicle accident late Saturday night on Gorrell Road.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), a 2001 Ford Expedition was traveling east on 4780 Gorrell Road when it veered off the right side of the roadway shortly after 11:30 p.m. The driver overcorrected, leading to the vehicle overturning.
The driver, a 27-year-old woman from Orlando, Florida, and a 20-year-old male passenger from St. James, MO, suffered minor injuries. A 21-year-old male from St. James sustained serious injuries and was transported to Cuba Memorial Hospital for treatment.
MSHP reported that the 20-year-old male passenger was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, while the driver was buckled in. It remains unclear if the 21-year-old male was wearing a seatbelt during the incident.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further details have been released regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash.
