Pilot Grove Boy Injured in Side-by-Side Crash in Cooper County
A 10-year-old boy from Pilot Grove suffered serious injuries following a side-by-side crash in Cooper County on Friday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at 4:15 p.m. on Riverview Drive at River View Lane. The child was riding a 2007 Kawasaki side-by-side traveling south when he attempted to turn north. The vehicle veered off the left side of the road, resulting in the boy being ejected.
Emergency crews transported the child via air ambulance to University Hospital. His condition is reported as serious.
