Scooter Rider Dies After Collision with Vehicle in Northern Kentucky
A person riding a personal scooter died following a vehicle collision in Newport, Kentucky, on September 2 around 9:50 a.m.
Newport Police responded to the incident at the intersection of Monmouth Street and New Linden Road. Authorities reported that the vehicle was turning onto New Linden Road from Monmouth Street when it struck the scooter, which was traveling northbound.
The scooter rider was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where they later died from their injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing, and police have not released the identities of those involved in the crash.
