Rudy Giuliani Injured in New Hampshire Car Crash, Recovering Well

Rudy Giuliani Injured in New Hampshire Car Crash

WASHINGTON (TNND) — Rudy Giuliani, 81, is recovering from multiple injuries, including fractured vertebrae, after being involved in a car crash in New Hampshire on Saturday evening.

According to Michael Ragusa, Giuliani’s head of security, Giuliani’s vehicle was struck from behind while traveling on a highway. He sustained various injuries, including a fractured thoracic vertebra, lacerations, contusions, and injuries to his left arm and lower leg. Giuliani was transported to a nearby trauma center for treatment.

Ragusa confirmed that the accident was not a targeted attack. Prior to the crash, Giuliani was flagged down by a woman who was a victim of a domestic violence incident, prompting him to contact law enforcement for assistance. However, Ragusa emphasized that the crash was “random and unrelated” to that incident.

Giuliani was in a rental car, and Ragusa clarified that the driver did not recognize him at the time of the accident. Andrew Giuliani, Rudy’s son, expressed gratitude for the support received via social media, stating, “Your prayers mean the world.”

Ragusa reassured the public about Giuliani’s condition, saying he is “conscious, alert, and strong” and is expected to be released within a few days to resume his normal activities.
