Fatal Crash in Palmyra Claims Life of Rhode Island Woman
A 20-year-old woman from East Providence, Rhode Island, died Saturday after crashing her vehicle into a median on Interstate 95 in Palmyra.
According to Maine State Police, the incident occurred around 7:15 a.m. on I-95 northbound near mile marker 155. Tatiana Medeiros was driving a Toyota Matrix in the left lane when her vehicle veered off the road and struck the median.
Emergency responders pronounced Medeiros dead at the scene. The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, and authorities have not released further details regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident.
