One person died in a late-night crash on Saturday near South Santa Fe Drive and West Evans Avenue in Denver's Overland neighborhood.
According to the Denver Police Department, the accident occurred around 10:08 p.m. near the Overland Golf Course and Ruby Hill Park. One motorist, whose identity has not been released, died as a result of the crash.
Details regarding additional injuries and the types of vehicles involved remain unavailable. No information on the cause of the accident or potential charges is currently known, authorities said.
The roadways were closed for cleanup and investigation following the collision, but they had fully reopened by Sunday morning, according to an update from police at 5:24 a.m.
The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner will identify the victim at a later date.
