One killed in I-70 bus crash near Holly Street

One person was killed Monday morning in a crash involving a Regional Transportation District (RTD) on westbound Interstate 70 in Denver.

The incident occurred near Holly Street shortly after 7:00 a.m. on September 15, 2025, leading to the closure of westbound I-70 between exit 279B for Central Park Boulevard and exit 277 for Dahlia Street. The highway reopened at approximately 9:05 a.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

Authorities reported that there were no passengers on the RTD and no other injuries were documented. The identity of the deceased has not been released.
