One person was killed Monday morning in a crash involving a Regional Transportation District (RTD) bus on westbound Interstate 70 in Denver.
The incident occurred near Holly Street shortly after 7:00 a.m. on September 15, 2025, leading to the closure of westbound I-70 between exit 279B for Central Park Boulevard and exit 277 for Dahlia Street. The highway reopened at approximately 9:05 a.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
Authorities reported that there were no passengers on the RTD bus and no other injuries were documented. The identity of the deceased has not been released.
As of now, investigators have not disclosed additional details about the crash or its cause.
