One Dead, Teen Injured in Isanti County Crash
ISANTI COUNTY, MN — A crash on Highway 65 Monday night resulted in one fatality and life-threatening injuries to a 17-year-old driver, authorities reported.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Ford F-150 was traveling north on Highway 65 when a Chrysler Town and Country, heading south, crossed into the northbound lane and collided with the pickup truck.
The driver of the Chrysler, identified as 64-year-old Kenneth Michael Snyder, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities stated he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. The 17-year-old driver of the Ford, from Braham, sustained critical injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Emergency crews responded to the collision, which prompted lane closures as the scene was assessed and cleared. The State Patrol is investigating the incident.
