Officer Injured in Las Vegas Crash Recovering, Says Police Department

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — An officer from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department was injured in a single-vehicle crash near Frank Sinatra Drive and Reno Avenue early Tuesday morning.

According to LVMPD, Officer Hartner is currently recovering from his injuries. The department expressed gratitude for the care provided by the team at the University Medical Center (UMC) and acknowledged the support of fellow officers during his recovery.

“Thank you to the incredible team at UMC for providing him with excellent care, and to his fellow officers who stood by his side and helped him safely make his journey home,” LVMPD stated in a social media update.

The department looks forward to Officer Hartner’s return to duty soon.
