HANFORD, Calif. (FOX26) — An injured Hanford Police Officer was escorted home by his chief and fellow officers after being released from the hospital on August 15.
The officer was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) following a motorcycle accident while responding to another traffic incident. According to authorities, a truck pulled in front of him, leading to the officer being ejected from his motorcycle.
After several days in intensive care, he underwent medical procedures and physical rehabilitation. As a surprise, his wife, daughter, and fellow officers were present to greet him upon his discharge.
