Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with RTC Bus in Henderson Early Monday
HENDERSON (KTNV) — A motorcyclist died in a collision with an RTC Southern Nevada transit bus at approximately 12:46 a.m. on Monday.
According to authorities, the RTC bus was traveling eastbound on Racetrack Road and attempted to make a left turn onto Burkholder Boulevard while under a flashing yellow turn signal. The bus struck a westbound motorcyclist on Racetrack Road as it veered into the oncoming lane.
Emergency services pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. The transit bus was not in service during the incident.
This crash marks the sixth fatality related to traffic accidents in 2025. An investigation is ongoing, and Henderson Police are gathering more information.
