Motorcycle crash kills 64-year-old man in Grant County.

HORICON MAN KILLED IN CRASH IN GRANT COUNTY

TOWN OF POTOSI, Wis. (WKOW) — A Horicon man died in a motorcycle crash in Grant County on Saturday.

According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on County Highway U near South Boice Creek Road. Ronald Walsh, 64, was riding a 2004 Harley-Davidson westbound when he veered off the roadway.

Authorities reported that wet and foggy weather conditions were present at the time, but the exact cause of the crash is still under investigation. Walsh was thrown from his motorcycle and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

The Grant County Coroner pronounced Walsh dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash. This incident marks the seventh motor vehicle fatality in Grant County for the year.

The investigation is ongoing.
