Floyd County, KY – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on KY Route 979 on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Kentucky State Police (KSP), the incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. when Kyle Hall was operating his motorcycle and struck a concrete culvert.
KSP reported that a passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a medical facility. Hall was pronounced dead at the scene by the Floyd County Coroner’s Office.
The collision is currently under investigation, with no further details available at this time. Authorities have not indicated if any charges will be filed.
