DERRY, NH — A crash involving a Subaru wagon and a Harley Davidson motorcycle occurred Friday afternoon at the intersection of Manchester Road (Route 28) and Scobie Pond Road.
The collision took place around 2:00 p.m., resulting in the motorcycle rider sustaining injuries. Emergency personnel from the DERRY POLICE DEPARTMENT and local medical services responded to the scene. The injured rider was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities indicated that the Subaru was traveling northbound on Route 28 when it collided with the motorcycle, which was traveling in the opposite direction. Both vehicles required towing from the scene, leading to partial lane closures on Manchester Road for approximately an hour during the response and investigation.
