Minibike crash injures 18-year-old in Missoula, driver cooperating.

MISSOULA – An 18-year-old man is recovering from injuries sustained in a minibike crash on Wednesday night.

According to Missoula police, the incident occurred around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Dearborn Avenue and Clark Street, near Winco Foods. The rider was operating a gas-powered minibike when he was struck by a vehicle.

Emergency responders transported the injured rider to a local hospital. His injuries are reported as non-life-threatening.

The 23-year-old driver of the vehicle is cooperating with the ongoing investigation. Authorities have not made any arrests, pending the results of toxicology tests.

No road closures were reported as a result of the crash. Further details will emerge as the investigation continues.
