Military Truck Involved in Crash near Capitol Hill
WASHINGTON (7News) — A military truck collided with another vehicle near Capitol Hill on Wednesday morning, according to the D.C. Fire and EMS Department.
The incident occurred at N. Carolina Avenue Southeast and 8th Street around 6:18 a.m. D.C. Fire reported the crash on their X account shortly after 7:48 a.m.
Emergency responders found one person entrapped in the other vehicle. They were extricated and transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Officials confirmed that the injured individual was not inside the military truck.
Authorities are currently reaching out to the National Guard for additional information regarding the incident. Further details about the scene and any potential road closures are pending as the investigation continues.
