LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A single-vehicle crash on Russell Cave Road sent one person to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries on Sunday.
According to the Lexington Police Department, officers responded to the incident in the 6100 block around 4:20 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a car had driven through a fence.
Emergency medical personnel provided assistance, and the injured individual was transported to a nearby hospital. The roadway is expected to reopen by 6:30 p.m. Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
