Charges Filed After Lake County Crash Sends Three to Hospital
LAKE COUNTY, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) – Two Baldwin residents face charges following a multi-vehicle crash in Lake County on Friday, resulting in three people hospitalized.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 PM at the intersection of West 76th Street and M-37 in Pleasant Plains Township. Authorities reported that a vehicle traveling east on West 76th Street failed to yield to southbound traffic on M-37, initiating a chain-reaction collision involving three cars.
Deputies noted that the occupants of the first vehicle provided inaccurate information about the incident. Alcohol is suspected to be a contributing factor, according to law enforcement.
