Four Injured in Rock County Crash Involving Jeep and Kia
TOWN OF ROCK, Wis. (WKOW) — Four individuals suffered injuries in a traffic collision Friday at approximately 5:18 p.m. on S USH 51 near W Terrington Drive.
According to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, a 17-year-old driver from Beloit was operating a Jeep Cherokee northbound when the vehicle crossed the center line and struck a southbound Kia Sorento driven by a 42-year-old from Janesville.
Emergency responders transported the injured parties to local hospitals. The driver of the Kia sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash resulted in the temporary closure of a section of S USH 51 for over an hour as authorities conducted their investigation. The incident remains under investigation.
