SLIDELL, La. — Four individuals sustained injuries in a crash early Sunday morning on I-10 eastbound before the Gause Boulevard exit.
According to the St. Tammany Fire Protection District 1, two vehicles were involved in the collision, both of which flipped over. One vehicle ended up off the roadway in heavy underbrush, and one passenger was ejected during the incident.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene, and dramatic footage from a firefighter captured the rescue efforts. All four injured passengers were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No further information has been released at this time regarding the conditions of those injured or any ongoing investigation. Authorities have not reported lane closures related to the crash.
