Five people, including two children, were injured in a crash involving a Central Ohio Transit Authority bus early Sunday morning in Columbus.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:20 a.m. on Oct. 19 at the intersection of Parsons Avenue and Bryden Road/East Town Street, according to police dispatch.
Authorities reported that one individual was transported in critical condition, another in serious condition, and a third in stable condition to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center. The two children were taken in stable condition to Nationwide Children's Hospital.
Four of those injured were passengers in a vehicle that ended up in the bushes next to Infectious Disease Consultants, Inc. at 685 Bryden Road, police said. The COTA coach involved was occupied solely by the driver.
No further details regarding the crash have been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
