MADISON (WKOW) — A man was arrested for his fifth Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) offense after a crash on Verona Road Friday night.
According to the Madison Police Department, Anthony Kasparec collided with another vehicle near the intersection of Verona Road and Raymond Road around 11:45 p.m. Officers who responded to the scene observed signs of intoxication.
Authorities reported that Kasparec performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested. He was booked at the Dane County Jail for OWI – 5th offense.
No injuries were reported in the crash, and there are no indications of additional vehicles involved. Further details about the incident and any ongoing investigation remain pending.
