Fatal Crash on US95 in Henderson

HENDERSON (KSNV) — A collision on northbound US95 took the life of a 69-year-old Henderson woman on Monday afternoon, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred near mile marker 107 involving a 2013 Harley Davidson Heritage motorcycle and a 2025 Freightliner Cascadia semi-truck. Preliminary investigations indicate both vehicles were traveling northbound when the motorcyclist made an unsafe lane change to the left, leading to the motorcycle being struck by the Freightliner.

The impact caused the motorcycle to overturn, ejecting both the rider and a passenger. The motorcycle came to rest on its left side in the far right lane, while the Freightliner stopped in the far left lane and the paved shoulder.

The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. Tragically, the passenger, Chamroon Sasser, was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing and lane closures were implemented as responders attended to the scene.
