Fatal Crash in Dallas County Claims Life of Selma Man
A two-vehicle crash in Dallas County on U.S. 80 has resulted in the death of a Selma man. The incident occurred on Thursday at approximately 6:20 p.m., near the 78-mile marker, about four miles west of Selma.
According to authorities, 82-year-old Henry Jemison was riding his motorcycle when it collided with a tractor-trailer. Jemison sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's Highway Patrol Division is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Emergency response teams were on site, and further details regarding lane closures or tows have not yet been released.
