MAGEE, Miss. — The Magee Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred around 4 a.m. on October 8.
Cory Chancellor, 29, of Ellisville, was involved in the accident at the Walmart traffic light on Highway 49 North in Magee and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Chief Denis J. Borges reported that additional vehicles were involved, but the number has not been disclosed. The exact cause of the crash is under investigation, and no further details about injuries or emergency response have been released at this time.
Authorities are continuing to gather information about the incident.
