Fatal Crash Reported in Florence, Montana
FLORENCE, Mont. — A fatal crash occurred Friday afternoon around 4:21 p.m. at the intersection of Florence Carlton Loop and Tie Chute Lane, according to the Montana Highway Patrol (MHP).
The incident involved a 12-year-old boy participating in a parade, who was riding on a Big Tex Trailer being towed by a Chevrolet Silverado. Authorities reported that the boy fell from the trailer and was subsequently run over by its tires.
Emergency responders pronounced the boy dead upon arrival at the hospital. Three other individuals on the trailer—a 66-year-old man, a 64-year-old woman, and a 31-year-old woman—were uninjured in the incident.
