Golden Police Officer Killed in Crash on Colorado 58

GOLDEN, CO — Golden Police Officer Evan Dunn, 33, was killed on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024, in a -related crash on Colorado 58. Officer Dunn and his partner were trapped under a vehicle after a suspected drunk driver collided with another car.

The incident occurred while Dunn was investigating a separate crash. His partner, Bethany Grusing, sustained serious injuries, along with a father and daughter at the scene. Dunn died at the scene.
