CONCORD, NH — A woman was arrested for driving under the influence after a wrong-way crash on Interstate 93 over the weekend.
Around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, reports of a wrong-way driver on I-93 north near Exit 12 began to surface, leading to a head-on collision. State police arrived at the scene at 11:36 p.m.
Authorities found a 2023 red Jeep Wrangler disabled in the right travel lane by Exit 12S and a 2011 black Chevrolet Silverado disabled in the right breakdown lane by Exit 12N. Neither driver sustained injuries.
The driver of the Jeep, 57-year-old Sandra Ouellette of Manchester, was arrested on charges of DUI, criminal mischief, and reckless conduct. She has since been released on personal recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Concord District Court on October 10.
Traffic on I-93 north was diverted off Exit 12S for about an hour while the scene was investigated and cleared. Bow Police and Concord Fire assisted at the site.
