Driver walks away uninjured after I-270 crash splits vehicle in half.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A car crash on northbound I-270 at Exit 10 left a vehicle split in half and abandoned in nearby woods.

According to Montgomery County Fire Rescue, emergency crews responded promptly and conducted a thorough search of the area using thermal imaging cameras. No individuals were located inside the abandoned vehicle.

The driver was later found walking, uninjured, along Montgomery Village Avenue. Authorities confirmed there were no other occupants in the vehicle.
