Driver suffers life-threatening injuries in early morning crash.

Prairie du Sac Township, Wis. (WKOW) — A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Trunk Highway 60 and Old Bluff Trail early Friday morning left one driver with life-threatening injuries.

According to the Sauk County Sheriff’s Department, the Sauk County Communications Center received a report of the crash at 5:52 a.m. on October 24, 2025. Preliminary findings indicate a pickup traveling south on Old Bluff Trail failed to yield to a westbound pickup on Highway 60, resulting in the collision.

The driver of the westbound vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries, whereas the driver of the southbound pickup suffered life-threatening injuries.

Emergency crews from the Sauk Prairie Police Department, Sauk City Fire Department, Sauk Prairie EMS, and the Sauk County Highway Shop responded to the scene.

The Sauk County Sheriff’s Department is continuing its investigation into the crash.
