LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A multi-vehicle crash on Dixie Highway near Valley Station left at least one person dead Sunday morning.
The incident occurred around 9:50 a.m. in the 12000 block of Dixie Highway, where up to six vehicles were reported to be involved. Authorities stated that the crash affected both directions of the highway.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene and confirmed at least one fatality, though the identity of the victim has not been released. The conditions of the other individuals involved remain unconfirmed.
Dixie Highway was temporarily closed to facilitate the preliminary investigation, but it has since reopened. According to police, the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
