LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A man has been indicted for wanton murder related to a fatal crash in 2022, according to court documents.
Hunter Biggs, 25, was allegedly operating his vehicle in a reckless manner that led to the death of David Simpson. The indictment, filed on September 16, describes Biggs’s actions as manifesting “extreme indifference to human life.” His bail is currently set at $100,000.
In a separate incident, Biggs was arrested in May 2025 for driving under the influence after a crash on Harris Creek Road. He entered a guilty plea on June 30, 2025, as recorded in court documents.
Biggs is currently incarcerated at the Casey County Jail. Further details regarding the investigation into the 2022 crash have not been disclosed.
