Six Injured in Southeast Indianapolis Crash Late Tuesday Night
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Six individuals were injured, four critically, in a crash involving a four-door sedan on the southeast side of Indianapolis Tuesday night.
At approximately 10:30 p.m., officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 7500 block of Southeastern Avenue, near the Marion County Fairgrounds. According to authorities, the sedan was reportedly speeding before the driver lost control and veered off the road. The vehicle went airborne, colliding with a tree before coming to a stop.
There were six occupants in the car, with one person ejected during the incident. Authorities stated that four adults were transported to a local hospital in critical condition, while one adult and a child were reported to be stable when emergency services arrived.
