High-Speed Chase Ends in Three-Vehicle Crash Across 3 Counties

A high-speed pursuit that began in Cole County and ended in Maries County resulted in a crash involving three vehicles on Sept. 15, according to the Osage County Sheriff’s Office.

The chase initiated in Cole County, passed through Osage County, and concluded in Maries County when the suspect lost control of their vehicle. The suspect reportedly struck two civilian cars before coming to a halt.

Authorities reported no serious injuries for the individuals in the struck vehicles. However, the suspect was airlifted to a local hospital with critical injuries.

The incident is currently under investigation, and charges are pending, according to Osage County officials.
