Manchester Collision Injures Two Children, Damages Four Condo Units
MANCHESTER, CT — Two children were injured and four condo units were damaged in a crash on Saturday night.
Firefighters were dispatched to the 800 block of Parker Street at 8:09 p.m. for a vehicle collision. Authorities reported that a vehicle left the road, crashing through a fence and striking a building on Jamie Lane. The impact severed two natural gas services and destroyed several decks and air conditioning units.
Firefighters quickly contained a significant gas leak resulting from the crash. Despite the damage, all affected condo units remain habitable.
Two children from the vehicle were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to officials. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
