BOGALUSA, La. — A two-car crash on Louisiana Highway 21 near Lon Miley Road resulted in the death of a Bogalusa man early Saturday morning.
According to Louisiana State Police, the accident occurred around 12:30 a.m. Gary W. Pittman, 43, was driving southbound on LA Hwy 21 when his vehicle crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a northbound GMC.
Pittman sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the GMC suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Authorities have not released any further details.
