Madison Police Officer Fundraiser Underway
MADISON (WKOW) — A pizza fundraiser was held on Wednesday at Salvatore’s Tomato Pies locations in Sun Prairie, Monona, and Madison to support injured Madison police officer Ryan Kimberley. Following a head-on collision with a tow truck on September 27, Kimberley is currently recovering from serious injuries.
An online fundraising campaign, aimed at assisting Kimberley and his family, has already raised nearly $90,000. The community effort intensified with Salvatore’s introduction of the “Kimberley-Pie,” featuring sausage, red sauce, roasted peppers, onions, and goat cheese.
For each Kimberley-Pie sold, Salvatore’s pledged to donate $10 to the ongoing campaign. The initiative highlights community support as Kimberley continues his recovery journey.
